Single Use license repair


A license repair is necessary if the hardware components of the license machine have been changed. The license has to be repaired e.g. when the harddrive or the processor have been exchanged.
 
 
In this case a license repair can be requested in the Geolabs Administrator.
 
Perform the following steps to accomplish a license update:
 
Go to Windows/Start All programs GI Geolabs GmbH and start the „Geolabs Administrator“.
 
 

Request Single Use license repair

 
After starting the Geolabs Administrator select "Single Use" within the licensing mode. Following this you can push the button "Request license repair".
 
 
 
Save your repair request file in the following step.
 
 
 
With „Next >“ and „Finish“ the wizard will be closed and the license repair request file will be saved at the given path.
 
Please send the repair license file (GSRR file) to GI Geolabs GmbH for activation (service@gi-geolabs.de).
After activation we will send the file back to you.
 
 

Conduct license repair

 
Save the received license repair file (GSRP file) on your machine.
 
Double-click the repair file. You might have to refresh the Geolabs Administrator with the button "Reread license information" if the Geolabs Administrator has been open before.
Restart the GISconnector in order to use the updated license.
 
Now the Single Use license has been repaired and can be used again.
